Vendor Description
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Brandon's Boatbox -- Category: Educational, Children's, Pre-School
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Short Description --
Reading drills! Special "stacking" techniques emphasize the words
young users need to work on the most. Includes 104 "sight" words, PLUS
you can customize your own word lists. Colorful and active rewards!
Long Description --
The Boatbox has four drills - each selects a different set of 26
words. Readers need a monitors help (like Mom or Dad) to rule if they
correctly identify words -- missed words go into a special "repeat" stack.
That way, readers spend most time drilling the most troublesome words.
To keep it fun, colorful pictures pop up in random spots to reward
identified words. Finish the entire set of 26 words and you're rewarded with
colorful flashing screens, sirens, and dancing bears!
NEW! Keep Boatbox fresh by creating your own special "CUSTOM" word
lists!
Runs on your MS-DOS compatable and requires at least a CGA monitor.
Registration: $7.50, or $10.00 for a copy of the latest version and a
printed, bound manual.
